Eddie Misrahi joined Apax Partners in 1991 as a Partner, responsible for investments in the TMT sector. He carried out many investments to support young, innovative companies as well as more mature companies in growth financing and buy-out transactions. He became Managing Director of Apax Partners in 2007 and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 2010.
He started his career at McKinsey & Company in Paris, before working in the USA for a telecommunications firm.
He was Chairman of AFIC (Association Française des Investisseurs en Capital) from 2007 to 2008.
Eddie graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Harvard Business School.
Partner at Apax Partners since 2000, Monique is in charge of Business & Financial Services investments and also head of the Business Development activity.
Monique started her career at Paribas, where she was, after a few years, in charge of Equity Capital Market and then Senior Banker. At BNP Paribas, she was Global Head of Equity.
She is an Independent Director of the Board of Directors of Safran and BNP Paribas and an Independent Member of the Supervisory Boards of JCDecaux and Hermès. She was a board member of the AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers), France’s financial regulatory authority from 2011 to 2014.
Monique graduated from Ecole Polytechnique.
Guillaume Cousseran joined Apax Partners in 2006 and is in charge of Business Development and Investor Relations.
Before joining Apax Partners, Guillaume Cousseran spent five years as an Analyst and then as an Associate in Lehman Brothers’ Investment Banking team focused on French coverage, where he was involved in many M&A, IPO and LBO transactions.
Guillaume graduated from HEC business school.
Aida Ben Lamine joined Apax Partners in 2013 and is in charge of Business Development.
She started her career in London within the Investment Banking division of Lehman Brothers in 2006, and then transitioned to Nomura strarting September 2008. She focused on the Media and Telecom industries in Europe and was involved in various LBO, M&A and capital markets transactions.
Aida graduated from HEC business school.
A dedicated in-house business development team is in charge of ongoing proactive deal sourcing across all sectors : Monique Cohen, Guillaume Cousseran and Aida Ben Lamine.
The business development team has 3 key roles :
1- Coverage / networking Coverage of all intermediaires (bankers, auditors and consultants) in France and abroad (e.g. Benelux)
2- Apax entry point: contact person for intermediaires when receiving new investment opportunities
* Make sure the new deal opportunity is channeled to the right sector team and provide quick yes or now answer
3 - Internal analyses : generate proprietary / primary deals through internal sourcing efforts
If the investment team is working on a deal opportunity, the intern is invited to assist the team in the analysis of the team and preparation of documents for the different investment committees.
